1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by VD Engineering Services (“the Service Provider”) to the Client. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

 

2. Scope of Work

Services may include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic maintenance and repair, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, emergency call-outs, training, and technical support. The scope of work will be agreed in writing or via formal quotation before commencement.

 

3. Service Availability

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PMEmergency/standby call-outs may be available after hours, on weekends, or holidays by prior arrangement or with additional charges.

 

4. Fees and Payment

Rates will be clearly stated in advance via quotation or service agreement.Emergency and out-of-hours services may incur additional charges.Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.Late payments may incur interest and/or service suspension.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

Ensure safe access to all equipment and work areas.Provide accurate information regarding equipment condition and previous work.Ensure machinery is shut down and safe before service begins unless previously agreed.Report any health, safety, or hazard concerns prior to service.

 

6. Refunds and Returns

No refunds will be issued once a machine has been successfully repaired and confirmed operational.If issues recur within the warranty period (see Section 7), follow-up service may be provided at no additional cost where applicable.Charges for diagnostic visits or unsuccessful repairs due to incorrect client information or unsafe conditions are non-refundable.

 

7. Warranty & Liability

Workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days from completion.The Service Provider is not liable for loss of production, consequential damages, or failure caused by pre-existing faults or user negligence.Parts supplied by third parties are covered by their respective warranties.

 

8. Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a service without incurring a cancellation fee. Emergency call-outs canceled after dispatch may still be chargeable.

 

9. Confidentiality

Any client information, business processes, or equipment specifications will be treated as confidential and not disclosed without permission, unless required by law.

 

10. Health & Safety

VD Engineering Services operates under current health and safety legislation. The Client agrees to provide a safe working environment and notify of any risks.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, and any disputes will be resolved under its jurisdiction.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By requesting or accepting services from VD Engineering Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
